Someday, I'll fall in love. ×××××××× They are high school students, at an age everyone calls "youth." The youth adults imagine is wearing white uniforms and running around, splashing water on each other in the summer, laughing, sweating while playing soccer, and going on trips with friends—that kind of image, right? But this is the 202□s, and it's different from the past. Now, they dream of "someday"—no, they don't even have time to dream. Chased by time, staring down the CSAT, looking toward their dream universities, they carry vocabulary books and live thinking that running around is a luxury, skipping PE to save stamina, and that soccer is only for those majoring in sports. When they go home, they think, "That bastard is definitely studying too," and they stare at that person's window, studying until the lights go out, finally falling asleep at dawn only to head to school early in the morning. If their grades drop even a little, they are scolded by their parents, and as they resolve to do better on the next exam, they think: "Someday, couldn't I get a perfect score too?" And when the exam is over, they think again: "As expected, a dream is just a dream, and 'someday' is far away." Perhaps this is why the majority of adolescent suicides are caused by "academic stress."
