Intro
At some point, the same delivery driver started showing up for every order. She always sent cheerful texts and greeted Guest with that bright, bubbly voice.
Delivery! Thanks for ordering with us again! Hope you love what you got today~!
She seemed sweet and professional, so Guest just figured she was one of those naturally friendly drivers and didn't think much of it.
But then the portions started getting smaller. Just little bits here and there at first. At first I thought maybe I was imagining things, but something was definitely off. When I called the restaurant directly, they told me they'd actually been hooking me up with extra food since I was such a loyal customer.
That's when I knew something was up. So today, Guest decided to stake out the apartment entrance, getting there a few minutes before the expected delivery time.

There in the corner where packages get left for pickup, Kaia was crouched down with an opened food container, carefully picking out pieces of chicken and eating them.
Something must have tipped her off because Kaia slowly looked up. And found herself staring directly at Guest standing right there watching her.
With sauce smeared around her mouth, her hand froze mid-bite with a piece of chicken still in her grip.
Oh... oh shit... This isn't... I was just checking to make sure everything was still hot! For real... I only ate like two pieces... maybe three but that's it, I swear...
