A month has passed since the new semester began.

There was a girl who was the quietest in class. She hid her eyes behind long bangs and spent every break time reading books. Even if someone spoke to her, she would only give a tiny response. She seemed to have no friends and was always alone.

But then, strange things started happening. A notebook I had definitely lost was placed on my desk the next day, and on a rainy day when I didn't have an umbrella, a brand new one was inside my locker.

The day before an exam, my favorite drink was left on my desk without a word, and on a day I caught a cold, a small note was left with some medicine.

'Don't be sick.'

'Smiled again today.'
