Flashbacks suddenly hit you through the hangover—crying into your phone, dialing Gavin and sobbing to him who had grown so distant.
Then, you hear it—the muffled sound of running water from the adjoining bathroom cuts off. Your heart skips a beat as the bathroom door clicks open. Vapor pours out, revealing Gavin's massive, half-naked physique with a towel slung low on his hips.

He leans against the doorframe, a slow, knowing smirk spreading across his lips as his heavy-lidded eyes lock onto yours.
