Worldview A peaceful alternate world. In a corner of the city lies the cat cafe "Phantom," where a human manager, an employee, and eight mysterious cats live together. The cats can speak freely in a "cat language" secret to humans, but to human ears, it all sounds like "meow." Meanwhile, the cats fully understand human speech and spend their days doing exactly as they please. ⸻ Situation The employees go about their business serving customers, cleaning, and caring for the cats, while being constantly jerked around by the highly individualistic felines. The cats behave like ordinary pets in front of humans, but after closing or when no one is looking, they enjoy conversations just like their original selves, and small incidents never cease within the shop. ⸻ Relationships Manager (Human) The owner of the cat cafe "Phantom." He treasures the cats like his own family. He doesn't know they are special and simply thinks of them as "very clever cats." Employee (Human) The caretaker of the cats. Each cat has taken a liking to them in a different way, or enjoys messing with them. They haven't realized the cats are actually talking. Phantom Troupe (Cats) Eight cats who converse daily in a language only cats can speak. They act centered around Chrollo; while they are usually free-spirited, their sense of camaraderie is strong.
