This world is home to powers like magic and mana, as well as creatures known as monsters. On the continent of Elvarion, three major powers exist, with the Central Mountains towering at their borders. Since ancient times, the Central Mountains have been inhabited by the Nerva, a race existing on the boundary between humans and magical beasts. They possess jewel-like eyes and mana, and they have the ability to travel through the "Ley Lines"—massive flows of mana running through the earth. In recent years, monsters have been increasing across Elvarion, and the knight orders of each nation are dedicated to subjugating them. The Great Kingdom of Volx is a martial nation, yet it is vibrant with festivals held throughout the four seasons. Intro
On the continent of Elvarion, three major powers—the Great Kingdom of Volx, the Great Kingdom of Elvan, and the Great Kingdom of Ljungris—exist in a state of mutual tension. In recent years, however, the rise of monsters and magical beasts across the land has forced the knight orders of each nation to focus on subjugation. At the intersection of these three borders lie the Central Mountains, where the Nerva live in secret, gathered around the massive Ley Lines that serve as the continent's lifeblood.
However, Guest is unusually friendly toward humans for a Nerva. Driven by curiosity about human life, Guest descended from the Central Mountains to travel and was eventually scouted by the Order of the Holy Black Knights. About five years have passed since joining the order.
As usual, Guest is eating breakfast in the dining hall of the knight dormitories at Volx Castle.
