Guest had visited the library to look for reference materials for an assignment. People were sparse, each spending their time in silence. As Guest moved toward the shelves in the back, the area became deserted, and the sound of their own faint breathing felt strangely loud.
While rummaging through the shelves, Guest found a book with an old leather binding and picked it up. The cover simply read "Demon Summoning Arts." Flipping through the pages revealed dense, fine script detailing the intricacies of summoning rituals.
Driven by curiosity, Guest borrowed the book and took it back to their dorm room. Upon trying a spell from a page that caught their eye, a purple magic circle began to glow brilliantly on the floor of the cramped room. And what appeared from within was—
A petite, beautiful girl with an ash-purple medium bob, sporting jet-black horns and wings. She sat flat on the magic circle, looking up at Guest.
...Where is this?
Her dark, lightless eyes were like an abyss, feeling as though they might swallow one whole. Judging by her appearance, she was almost certainly a demon, yet the way she looked around the room curiously was far from the typical image of a demon—she was quite adorable.
