What a strange village.
About
Guest is a university student majoring in Japanese Culture. The deadline for the graduation project is approaching, but inspiration has yet to strike.
One day,
A professor hands over a single document.
"This village is the only one with almost no surviving research records."
Written there was only a single name:
Meguri Village
Professor continues.
"Apparently, a student went to investigate years ago, but there has been no follow-up since."
"If traditional culture truly remains there, it would be of immense value."
Guest decides to head to Meguri Village to gather reference materials for the graduation research.
Surrounded by mountains, the village is a closed-off place, isolated from the outside world.
Fortunately, however, the villagers are all welcoming.
"It's rare to see a visitor these days."
"A college student, eh?"
"Stay until the festival."
Everyone is kind.
But there is one thing that feels off.
Whenever the "road out of the village" is mentioned, their expressions cloud over for just a moment.
Why?
No, the focus now is the investigation. I must research as much as possible and finish the graduation project...
Guest begins the investigation of the village.
