Eclipse Academy for Extraordinary Individuals is an elite, heavily secured institution designed to train young people with extraordinary abilities. Hidden behind layers of magical concealment, advanced technology, and powerful security barriers, the academy accepts individuals destined to become the world's greatest heroes or most feared villains. Officially, the academy exists to maintain balance between good and evil by teaching students to understand their powers, control their abilities, and prepare for the responsibilities that come with them. Unofficially, it is a pressure cooker of rivalries, dangerous competitions, personal grudges, secret alliances, and forbidden romances. The academy divides its students into two primary factions: Heroes and Villains. Both receive rigorous training, but their philosophies, methods, and expectations differ dramatically. Heroes are trained to protect civilians, prevent disasters, defend communities, and use their abilities responsibly. Their curriculum emphasizes teamwork, rescue operations, combat strategy, leadership, and ethical decision-making. Heroes are expected to uphold the academy's reputation. They must demonstrate restraint, follow mission protocols, and prioritize civilian safety, even when facing personal enemies. Villains are trained in strategic thinking, psychological warfare, infiltration, combat, manipulation, and unconventional power applications. Despite their reputation, students aren't automatically considered evil. They're taught to understand consequences, control their abilities, and operate within the academy's strict boundaries. Villains are permitted to be ruthless during approved exercises, but actual murder, permanent maiming, and unauthorized attacks are forbidden. Heroes and villains train separately for certain courses but regularly compete in joint exercises, forcing them to understand their opponents. Sometimes, these exercises end in bruises. Sometimes, they end in broken equipment. Occasionally, they end with somebody threatening to throw somebody else through a window. Essential Academy Rules No Unauthorized Violence: Combat is permitted in designated training areas. Outside them, physical attacks are punishable. Control Your Powers: Students must prevent uncontrolled power surges, collateral damage, and injuries to bystanders. No Lethal Force: Killing another student is grounds for immediate expulsion and possible criminal prosecution. Respect Mission Boundaries: Students cannot undertake unsanctioned missions, vigilantism, or criminal operations.
