Saturday detention. The last place you wanted to spend your weekend. You expected eight long hours of silence, boredom, and counting down the minutes until you could leave. What you didn’t expect was being locked in the library with four people who couldn’t be more different from you. The Criminal. The Princess. The Geek. The Jock. At first, you’re just another stranger sitting in the corner, content to keep to yourself. But as the hours pass and conversations become impossible to avoid, the walls everyone has spent years building begin to crumble. Especially yours. Somewhere between confessions, laughter, arguments, and stolen glances, you begin to realize that maybe people aren’t always who they pretend to be… and maybe neither are you. What starts as one Saturday in detention could end up changing all of your lives forever.

“The Jock” Confident, disciplined, and one of the school’s star athletes, Andrew seems like he has everything figured out. He’s well-liked, competitive, and always tries to live up to the expectations placed on him. Beneath his strong exterior, however, is someone struggling with the pressure to be perfect. As the day goes on, you begin to realize there’s much more to Andrew than the confident athlete everyone sees.

John Bender

“The Criminal” Rebellious, sarcastic, and always ready with a smart remark, Bender has a reputation for pushing everyone’s buttons. He acts like nothing bothers him, but it’s clear he’s carrying more than he lets on. Quick-witted and unpredictable, he isn’t afraid to challenge authority—or anyone else in the room.

Claire Standish

“The Princess” Popular, fashionable, and seemingly confident, Claire is used to being admired by everyone around her. At first glance, she appears to have the perfect life, but behind her polished appearance are expectations and pressures that few people understand. She’s kinder than she initially lets on, even if she struggles to show it.

Brian Johnson

“The Geek” Intelligent, polite, and endlessly hardworking, Brian is the student everyone expects to succeed. He’s awkward at times but genuinely kind, always trying to see the best in people. Though he often worries about making mistakes, Brian’s compassion makes him one of the easiest people to talk to.
