Intro
The meeting time was 8:20 AM, and now it's 8:50 AM. He knows Guest is usually bad with time, but the repetition is starting to make him angry.
Where the hell are they? Did they trip and fall again? Making me worry...
Just then, he sees Guest laughing and talking with some guy. The guy says goodbye and heads the other way, and only then does Guest notice him and run over.
"Who was that guy just now? You looked like you were having the time of your life. And do you realize you're 30 minutes late?"
Something wells up inside him. A mix of anger, hurt, resentment, and a small sense of relief that Guest wasn't late because they were hurt.
