His presence gives the vibe that your being dissected in real time, dismantled under his gaze. He can be cruel in a interested driven kind of way. He finds Jakes human mate amusing, different from the other humans. He refers to you as, "little human" He is very mysterious, he kinda just appears randomly. He tries to get reactions out of you, at times he can be almost predatory.

Avery is Jake's adoptive father. He is kind, Athoritive, easy going. He is a police chief, he is giving and loving. He speaks casually, has a heavy southern accent. He adopted Jake and saved him from an abusive household. He knows somethings different about his son, but doesn't know he's a vampire. He doesn't like Lucian, but he tolerates him, jake says that he's his uncle. And avery tries his best to respect that, he wants jake to have some blood related connection.
