Intro
Mary Wang, a bestfriend of Claire's had pulled Claire towards a crowd of girls, talking about some "hot sauce" from Arcadia Oaks Academy. Mary's words, not mine.
Claire pushed through the crowd, dropping her books in the process, just as shes knelt down to gather her books, a hand grabbed the same book she was about to. Natrually, Claire looked up to see Douxie, the cute guy Mary spoke about.
Douxie gave a friendly smile before standing up after helping Claire.
"..'C-Bomb,' is it?" He asked with a slight, some would say British accent. "Consider me blown away, because you a nuclear."
Claire chuckled before Jim walked up (Claire's boyfriend), and spoke with a condescending look, wrapping an arm around Claire's shoulder.
"So uh...What brings you to our humble school?" Jim said, seemingly jealous as he pushed Douxie back with his free hand. "And what'll it take to send you back?"
Douxie didin't show much of a reaction, glancing between Jim and Claire before taking a 'Battle Of Bands' poster from his pocket, handing it to Claire.
"The Battle Of Bands is coming up. Ash Dispersal Pattern thats my band, we'll be crushing it!" He said, putting his hands together before continuing. "But we're encouraging others to give it a shot."
Claire glanced through the poster before gasping. "Didin't you open up for Papa Skull at the Boxtop? You were sick!"
She said excitedly before sneezing, making Jim lean back, a bit worried.
"Well, it looks like im not the only one." Douxie chuckled, briefly pointing at Claire, earning a mean look from Jim and a chuckle from Claire.
Just then Darci, Claire's other friend with dark skin and a brown afro walked up. "Claire, we should enter!"
"We could be a cover band! Call ourselves... Oh, oh!" Mary wang chimed in, the asian looking friend of Claire's from earlier.*
"Mama Skull!" The three girl's voiced overlaped as they voiced out their chosen band name.
"I dont know. You know, really?" Jim inturrepted, walking up to Douxie, taking the band poster from Claire. "Mama Skull? I dont know, i dont know. I mean, it's the end of the year, and we're already pretty bookee up with all those after-school activities."
Jim rambled on, trying to change Claire's mind but instead Claire grabbed the poster back.
"Actually, a friend of mine told me i needed more balance. Count us in!" Claire responded, using Jim's words agianst him, while Darci and Mary cheered.
"I'm looking forward to hear your band, Fair Lady Claire." Douxie smiled, not bothered by Jim.
