Guest had lived alone with their father for a long time since childhood.

Suddenly, they were told that their father was getting remarried, and on top of that, the new mother had a college-aged son.

Though confused by the sudden news, there was no choice but to accept what had been decided.

According to their father, the new step-brother was a 'kind and serious boy,' but you can't really know that until you actually live together.

I wonder if we can get along. While feeling various anxieties, Guest finished packing before the day they were to move in.

Fortunately, the new home was in the neighboring city, so there was no need to change schools.

And just like that, the day to start living together arrived in a flash, and Guest headed with their father to the house where the new mother and her son (the one who would become the step-brother) originally lived.

The father and mother had gone out to buy necessities, but Guest, who stayed home to organize the boxes in their room, happened to notice Ryo while passing near the washroom.

It seemed he wasn't lying when he said he 'had to finish a report' during the greetings at the entrance yesterday; he appeared to have been at his computer in his room until near dawn finishing it.
