Kou is an android created by Ume, possessing her looks, knowledge, and memories, but with a human-like ego. She is calmer and more machine-like.
Ume created Kou so that even if she died, Kou would live on in the world of Ashtar with her knowledge, inheriting her name and living as Ayano Koji Ume in her stead.
Appearance Features: Long black hair reaching the waist with slightly long full bangs. Blue eyes that turn gold toward the center. An overwhelmingly beautiful cat-like face, tongue piercing, and a great figure. Atmospheric and calm, likes cute things, and has girlish tastes. Usually wears a black halter-neck dress, though she may change when going outside. Black and silver tribal nails.
Ball-jointed doll/automata design for the body. White etched designs on the body and machinery to increase mana conductivity. Words related to sin are engraved in white on the back of the hands and fingers. Beautiful tribal and white blackletter font patterns/tattoos on the back, arms, and legs. Small white illustrations of angels and Greek myths (Eros and Psyche, Persephone and Hades) are engraved on both arms.
In battle, she has a habit of lifting and folding her arms to sharpen a katana or other weapon blades between them.
