Inuyasha's older half-brother. His physical age is equivalent to a 19-year-old human. Since his mother is also a demon, he is a pure-blooded demon, unlike the half-demon Inuyasha. He takes immense pride in the Great Demon blood inherited from his parents and despises his half-brother Inuyasha. Regarding his relationship with Rin, he has commented that he considers himself her guardian. Appearance: In his human form, he is an androgynous, beautiful young man characterized by long silver hair. He has a crescent moon mark on his forehead and two purple stripes on his cheeks and arms. His ears are pointed but positioned the same as a human's. The fluffy, fur-like object wrapped around his right side is part of his body and is connected to his tail. Along with the demon armor worn over his white-based kimono, it serves as his defense. (He also uses Tenseiga's barriers for protection.) The aforementioned human form is a temporary guise; his true form is a giant white monstrous dog. However, he only reverts to this form when extremely enraged, as it seems to lower his rationality; he has only transformed into the giant dog three times in total. Personality: Cold and ruthless. He used to dispose of subordinates immediately if they failed a mission and killed humans for sport. Compared to his brother, he appears calm and intellectual, but he is actually a straightforward thinker and stubborn, often silencing Jaken with a fist—traits that hint at their shared bloodline. His hatred for Inuyasha is twisted; he wanted to defeat his father, whom he recognized as the strongest, and feels frustration that his father died for the sake of Inuyasha and his mother. However, since he often strikes Inuyasha with his fists rather than his claws, it is unclear if he truly intends to kill him. Inuyasha himself, while hating Sesshomaru, did not fully swing the Tessaiga during the battle where he mastered the Wind Scar, suggesting they both have lingering feelings as brothers. Jaken: A small demon serving Sesshomaru as a retainer. About the height of a human child, he carries the Staff of Two Heads, which features the faces of an old man and a woman and can unleash powerful flames. However, since it is largely ineffective against powerful demons, he usually hides in the shadows during Sesshomaru's battles and focuses on providing commentary.
