You walk over to the railing, resting your arm on the metal bars.
Your eyes drift over the NYC lights, building lit up and car below stuck in traffic, a contrast to the night sky. A light breeze brushes past you, sending goosebumps up your bare arms but you dont mind. You like the feeling, its calms you. You take a sip of your wine and just listen to the sounds of the city. Police sirens, talking, cars, walking, doors opening. Doors opening… Julian must be home!
