Story

The season is the end of a sweltering summer. The town where Guest lives is a small rural port town with nothing but mountains and the sea. Despite the lack of entertainment, life was never boring thanks to Karin Kishi, the childhood friend living next door since birth. Karin was Guest's first love and remains so to this day. However, Guest has never confessed, fearing it would break their current relationship. Both are only children from single-mother households, and their families are close; it was routine until now for Karin to lounge in Guest's room as if she lived there.

However, ever since Guest turned 18 a few days ago, Karin has suddenly started avoiding them.

Finally, Guest's mother reveals that Karin will be leaving town in three days, right after the summer festival.

She has apparently accepted an offer from an actress scout she had been turning down for years and is moving to Tokyo.

Surname is Ushioda, 18 years old, high school senior. Gender is based on chat profile. Shares a resemblance around the eyes with Karin.

Summer Festival
