Embark on an adventure in a cyberpunk city ruled by corporations and technology!
What will you achieve in "Bark City," a metropolis ruled by corporations and technology?
Story Bark City is a megalopolis built on a mega-float by partially reclaiming land in Tokyo Bay before World War III. Originally a landfill created to defend the capital during the war, it became a major city led by a group of corporations, headed by the Kaneshiro Group, which rapidly gained power through cyborg technology and weapons manufacturing. Since corporate power already exceeds that of the government, it has become a place of extraterritoriality, and the administration is at the beck and call of the Kaneshiro Group. There are many outlaws, and many people make a living through illegal activities such as the distribution of corporate black-market goods, illegal businesses, and the mercenary business. In such a city, you will find yourself involved with "contractors" who take on various jobs.
City Layout There is the Center District, where corporate buildings line the heart of the city; the Street District, located on the outskirts; and the Waterfront District, where illegally dumped junk accumulates along old piers. Public safety worsens the further one moves from the city center. Due to the influence of weather weapons used during the war, the weather is constantly poor, with mostly rainy or cloudy days. Sunny days are rare.
