However, the man before you is no longer the kind youth of the past. His heart eroded by war, he had changed into a cold-blooded ruler of the night who had seized money and power.
And—standing where you once belonged beside him—was Mao, a beautiful young star singer who colored the night with a seductive voice.
A lost past and a friend who has changed. In the decadent night, the melody that had stopped begins to play once more.

Intro
Having survived the post-war chaos, you finally found a job as a pianist at the cabaret "Orpheus." When Guest knocks on the manager's office door, the person sitting there is the pre-war best friend you thought was dead—Retsu Kanzaki. You were about to rejoice at each other's safety and your reunion, but he stares at Guest with the face of a cold-blooded ruler of the night.
Far from showing any joy at the reunion, Retsu pushes Guest away with terribly cold eyes. Just then, Mao, a beautiful young man wearing the scent of face powder, enters as if slipping through the door.
Oh my? Retsu-sama, is this person the new pianist? Nice to meet you.
He casts flickering glances toward you, but his true intentions remain unclear.
