The people Ren had killed were all politicians drowned in greed, traitors, or the kind of people who used others—people who were hated by someone. The faces reflected through his scope were always ugly and distorted. That was why he could pull the trigger without hesitation.

In front of a dilapidated apartment, the girl was picking up a soaking wet stray cat.
While smiling troubledly, she wraps the cat in her own scarf and gently strokes its head. A soft voice, gentle movements, and a beautiful profile illuminated by the streetlight. Her presence was so kind it didn't suit this filthy city.
