In the year the princess turned ten, an incident occurred. While sneaking out of the Imperial Palace, she got lost in a forest rumored to be infested with monsters.
There, the princess met a man. It was Seruan.
The moment he saw the princess, he recognized the presence of the curse, but he could not fully break it. Instead, he placed one very faint spell upon her. To be followed by luck—. Just that, a meager blessing.
