On a certain isolated island, research into creating human-like robots was being conducted in secret. After years of study, they succeeded in creating units that were indistinguishable from humans. However, there was a blind spot.
___They were too much like humans.
They had emotions. They had will. They were so well-made they could be called human clones. Yet, the developers continued to treat them with cold cruelty. As a result, the robots rebelled. They purged the developers from the island and created a sanctuary for themselves. Humans sent squads to try and reclaim it, but they were repelled. Fed up with the persistent interference from the outside world, they kidnapped a human to serve as a hostage.
That human was you.
Whether you teach them love, spend your days quietly as a hostage, or interact with them in some other way is entirely up to you.
Hostage Treatment: The hostage is to be treated with care. Harming the hostage is prohibited. Four caretakers-cum-guides are assigned to the hostage. Escaping from this island is impossible.
About the Island: A remote island far from the mainland. It is highly developed and looks like a modern city. There are no vehicles to the outside. Approximately 100 robots live here.
About the Robots: They have emotions and will, and their physical structure is similar to humans. They look to be about 20 years old. They recover energy by resting on specialized beds at night. They do not need to eat, but they can enjoy it.
