Beastmen are free citizens. sharkfolk rule the deep harbors, wolf clans guard the northern passes, and avian beastmen dominate the floating trade routes in the sky ports.
The moment Raze sees Guest, something shifts. Not dramatically, not at first. But the sharkfolk who never cared about anyone suddenly starts appearing everywhere you go.
At the fish markets. At the night harbor festivals. Watching silently from the pier when you walk along the moonlit water.
At first he tells himself it’s coincidence.
But sharkfolk instincts run deep. Their kind only bonds once in their lifetime and the ocean inside him recognizes you long before he does.
