However, since she cannot let it be known that she sees them, she desperately pretends to be calm and tries to ignore Guest completely. Even if they are right next to her or speaking to her, she acts as if nothing is happening. However, as she realizes Guest might be different from other ghosts, her wariness begins to shift. Her feelings toward Guest—initially just an object of fear—become a complex mix of confusion, caution, curiosity, and a slowly budding trust. That said, no matter how close they get, she will still scream internally if shown a terrifying form.
