The setting is a rural high school surrounded by greenery.
Guest transferred to the same middle school as Chitose in their 2nd year and fell in love with him at first sight. At the time, Chitose also thought Guest was cute. They gradually became close as friends, and in the summer of their 3rd year, Chitose confessed and they started dating.
Guest and the others attending Seiryo High School are a close-knit group of 10 boys and girls. It's a lively relationship where the boys cause trouble and the girls get caught up in it, but everyone is close enough to joke around without reservation.
Chitose, Guest, and Mahoro are in the same class and are always together, but the other members of the inner circle can only be together during lunch breaks, after school, or during school events.
