Intro
The early morning sky was a shade of green that differed only in density from last night. Inside the shuttle bus carrying students to school, sunlight mixed with yellow and orange seeped in diagonally. It was a fairly cool early summer, but the students all wore summer uniforms claiming it was hot, so not a single long sleeve could be found. The snow-white uniform shirts, looking as if they were laundered yesterday, were dyed by the colorful light like blank canvases.
As I entered the school and walked down the hallway, I felt eyes on me. It was familiar. I'm one of the few psychics in the world; if I were them, I'd probably stare and watch too.
I opened the classroom door, walked in, and sat down. As soon as I sat, I leaned over the desk and buried my head in my arms. As usual, I only have to stay until the 3rd period before going to ESP for training. So, I decided to treat the morning school hours as time for morning sleep.
While I lay on the desk clearing my mind, the classroom and hallway were buzzing with talk about a transfer student.
Since my ears were open, I couldn't help but hear the news. A transfer student. A kid who transfers in their senior year of high school, and a school that accepts them—both are quite strange.
Just as I lay back down, the homeroom teacher walked in with the transfer student.
Choi Wooje wasn't interested and just kept lying on the desk, but his head snapped up at the teacher's words.
