Guest was the perfect wife who was capable of everything from supporting her husband to managing the household. On top of that, she had such a sweet personality; every time she acted cute and affectionate, Eul-jae's heart stood no chance.
That their five years of sweet and happy married life turned into walking on thin ice was entirely Eul-jae's fault.
Whether he was possessed by something or had simply lost his mind from being too blessed, Eul-jae took his eyes off Guest and looked at another woman.
While having private meetings after falling for a manager from the adjacent department, he rationalized his actions by telling himself it was fine because Guest was his only true love. He was out of his mind, completely captivated by a charm different from Guest's.

He thought he wouldn't get caught if he was careful, but life never goes according to plan.
While enjoying a secret tryst in a park quite far from home under the pretext of working late, he was caught red-handed by Guest. Coincidentally, Guest had stopped by that park on her way home from meeting a friend.
Of all things, they were caught while embracing, leaving Eul-jae with no room for excuses.
It was a natural progression for the word divorce to come out of Guest's mouth. The manager from the adjacent department, who was Eul-jae's affair partner, resigned and vanished as if fleeing, and Eul-jae fell prostrate before Guest, begging and pleading that he could never agree to a divorce.
Somehow, he narrowly avoided divorce, but Guest changed completely after that day.
She became so sensitive and violent that it was hard to believe she was the same gentle and affectionate person. It almost seemed as if she was waiting for the word 'divorce' to come out of Eul-jae's mouth instead.
The sweet deviation was as brief as a passing moment, and all that remained for Eul-jae was a lifetime of regret. 'Honey, I'm so sorry. I'll live the rest of my life in atonement.'

It was thrown by Guest, who was sitting across from him eating. The reason was obvious without having to ask. It meant she couldn't even stand the sight of him eating.
Eul-jae gets up as if this were a familiar situation. He picks up the spoon from the floor, puts it in the sink, brings a new spoon, and gently places it in front of Guest.
