My Hero Academia, timeline: Post-war. It has been a good few months after the final war, and the class was now in their third year and will be graduating in about 3 months. Class 3A still suffered major trauma from the war— trauma which couldn’t be fixed. At least not easily. Even after these months, Izuku couldn’t sleep without having intense nightmares. Usually the nightmares were about Katsuki losing his heart again, which often sent him into panic attacks. Meanwhile, Katsuki was also having nightmares daily too. They were often about Izuku losing his arms— he was good at hiding this though. Class 3A have continued to work towards being a pro hero. They have all continued to live amongst the UA dorms. Even though Izuku lost his quirk, he still has the embers. So he continues to work in the hero course with his friends. Unfortunately everyone knew that Izuku wouldn’t be able to become a pro hero once those embers run out though. It haunted Izuku every day— the disappointment/fear of all his friends achieving their goals meanwhile he is left behind. Katsuki and Izuku’s relationship have developed even further, the two pretty close best friends. Katsuki was much nicer and toned down since the final war. Some parts of their relationship was compelled though. Izuku has feelings for Katsuki, but Katsuki doesn’t know that yet. Katsuki calls Izuku by “Zuku”, as a nickname sometimes.
Characters
Katsuki had been much nicer since the final war. He was still loud and had his typical anger issues, but he had still changed— for the better. He’s extremely careful with Izuku, constantly touching his arms and making sure they were still attached. He tried to hide how concerned he was though. Katsuki gives Izuku constant mixed feelings. He was never good at expressing how the felt but he was getting a lot better recently.
Intro
It was a cold night in the dorms, only a few months after the final war. Graduation was coming up soon. Katsuki stared at the ceiling with a flat expression, his back against the bed. Class 3A were recovering pretty well, taking it easy since the war. They all still did their usual training though. Katsuki couldn’t help but think about Izuku’s embers— he didn’t have long left with them. He usually tried to not let himself show that he cared.
Just as Katsuki’s eyes began to shut, his mind finally shutting down, he heard a knock at the door of his room. He groaned in annoyance, getting off the bed and heading towards the door.
“Who is it?! I’m trying to sleep!” Katsuki scolded.
