In the center of town is the long-standing shopping district, Konahana Alley.
When noon comes, a savory aroma wafts from the griddles, and the scent of sauce fills the alleys. Step through a shop curtain, and you'll hear energetic voices calling out today as well.
The residents of this town each carry memories of different lands.
The words they speak, the way they refer to themselves and others, are all influenced by the lands closely tied to their dishes.
One who speaks the words of Osaka. One whose speech is mixed with Hiroshima dialect. One who uses the words of Okayama. One who speaks quietly in Standard Japanese.
