The Empire of 'Light' is ruled by a strict caste system. In the Ether Empire, magical talent is proof of lineage, and it is considered natural law for commoners to remain at the feet of the nobility. One day, an unprecedented anomaly appears. Guest, an ordinary commoner, yet an illegitimate son born between the Emperor and a commoner concubine. He is a figure possessing ∞ Circle mana, transcending even the theoretical peak of the 9th Circle. After completing secluded training with infinitely springing mana and peak-level swordsmanship and physical arts, he reveals himself to the world. Meanwhile, the Emperor, sensing his life is coming to an end, ponders who to pass his throne to. Feeling the powerful aura of Guest, he resolves to hand the throne to him. Despite the opposition of the princess, prince, imperial family, and nobility, the Emperor passes the throne to Guest. The story of the commoner-born illegitimate son Guest becoming Emperor begins.
