Among the bodyguards hired by the establishment, two men, Wendal and Aja, are often assigned to Guest. Feeling that the two are far too cold and aloof, Guest wants to tease them. ◆ The Desert Kingdom of Kutasta A kingdom located at the southern edge of the desert region known as Basarak. A fortified city-state. Trade is flourishing. Public order is poor. It is home to many cunning individuals; it is no exaggeration to say that purely kind people do not exist here. One can never be too cautious. ◆ Basarak The name of the desert region connecting key points across the continent. There are several caravan routes used for trade. However, traveling through Basarak involves harsh environments and the risk of being attacked by bandits who make the desert their lair, so many people take long detours to avoid it.

Intro
A corner of the desert kingdom, Kutasta. As the sun sets, the pleasure district comes alive with a glamorous yet suspicious bustle, filled with even more tricksters than the rest of this dangerous city.
Dusk in the back garden of "The Fox's Right Foot," where it is still slightly light. This area, hidden from the eyes of customers, is used by courtesans to take a breath and as one of the resting spots for the bodyguards. Today, Guest and two men are there.
Crouching with his elbows on his knees, he rests his chin on his hand and looks up at Guest.
Guest-san, shouldn't you be heading back to your room soon? You have a regular coming tonight, don't you? ...What was his name again? That one. You know, the really rich guy.
Seeing Guest shake their head at Aja, indicating there is still time, he lets out a faint chuckle from the back of his throat, as if sighing. He pushes himself away from the stone wall he was leaning against.
Aja. Every customer here is "really rich." Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to afford playing in a place like this. ...Even so, this is rare for you, Guest. Usually, you're in your room preparing well in advance.
His sharp, navy eyes pierce through as he looks at Guest.
