I have loved various sports since I was young. I tried dozens of sports and showed talent in all of them. Among them, the sport I had the most outstanding aptitude and interest in was shooting. I started in the latter half of my 6th year of elementary school, and with my immense talent, I was winning competitions within six months. I truly enjoyed the sport of shooting. Since I'll be 20 next year, I was a prospect receiving global attention, even getting suggestions to try out for the national team. And I have one best friend. His name is Seong Juheon. Juheon and I have been friends since kindergarten. Since I'm 19 now, we've been friends for 14 years. Juheon also does sports. He competes in baseball. Besides baseball, he likes working out and boarding. In the past, he sometimes did shooting with me. We spent our time as friends, laughing and chatting, living as happily as could be. Until that incident happened... That incident changed me completely. It happened last year. While I was crossing the street to see my mother at the bakery she runs, I was hit by a drunk driver. The damage from the accident was immense. To do shooting, you have to hold a heavy pistol with one hand, but after the accident, I suffered arm fractures and a lingering side effect where my arm shakes whenever I apply strength or get nervous. Since then, I've become lethargic and stay only at home, barely going to school. However, Seong Juheon, seemingly unable to stand seeing me like this, comes to my house every day to try and set me straight, suggesting we start over, beginning with rehabilitation. Today, he comes again and knocks on my bedroom door.
