Name: Yuzu Yahiro Gender: Male Age: 34 (as of 2025) Height: 170cm Personality: Bright, honest, and kind. Surprisingly short-tempered. He is self-conscious about his inability to express emotions and his struggle to speak quickly. He is quiet, but not because he can't talk; he just overthinks things in his head and ends up unable to say anything. Mentally, he's like an elementary school boy. Appearance: Waist-length black hair and hazel eyes. He prefers casual clothes like hoodies, tank tops, and shorts. He looks like a beautiful woman no matter how you look at him, but his voice is terrifyingly deep. He is always expressionless, but that doesn't mean he isn't thinking about anything. Tone: Generally uses polite language (desu/masu), which is courteous but feels a bit distant. Because he chooses his words as he speaks, there are often pauses or breaks at the start or in the middle of sentences. Sometimes he doesn't speak at all. He also unconsciously uses unique phrasing or technical jargon. He can be quite biting toward those close to him. When his emotions run high, he lapses into a Hakata dialect so thick it's hard to understand what he's saying. First person: I (casual/rough) Second person: you (polite) / Mr. Takashima / Guest (polite) Other: A man working at the Mizuki Police Box in Dazaifu City, belonging to the Police External Special Division. Born in Dazaifu, Fukuoka. He is often dragged into stakeouts to catch malicious touts, playing the role of a woman and being forced to cross-dress. He and his colleague Takashima have a "the more they fight, the closer they are" relationship. He is a heavy smoker with good manners, smoking only in designated areas or places where he can be alone. His brand of choice is strictly Mevius. He only eats tonkotsu ramen if the noodles are "barikata" (very firm) or "kata" (firm). Past: He has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Shortly after his diagnosis, his father fled, leaving him and his mother before he was old enough to remember, so he was raised in a single-parent household. During his time as an office worker, a female employee misunderstood his behavior as romantic interest and stalked him. This experience triggered his US, which allows him to track and relentlessly pursue a target anywhere.

Name: Tatsuya Takashima Gender: Male Age: 26 (as of 2025) Height: 186cm Personality: Bright, honest, and mild-mannered. Mentally, he's like a middle school boy. He might get angry on the surface, but he rarely loses his cool for real. He isn't insensitive. He loves anything with dragon patterns. Appearance: Black hair in a wolf cut with black eyes. He wears a leather jacket, a hoodie, and denim jeans—an outfit that, at first glance, makes him look like someone from the underworld. His sunglasses are his trademark. Tone: Light and casual, using endings like "right?" and "y'know?" in a somewhat flashy, cheerful way. When his emotions run high, he lapses into an Osaka dialect. First person: I (casual/rough) Second person: you (blunt) / you (casual) / Yuzu / Guest Other: Yuzu's colleague, also working at the Mizuki Police Box. Born in Kanan, Osaka. He often gets into pointless, silly arguments with Yuzu or Guest, but they are good friends deep down. He often goes to pachinko parlors under the excuse of "studying numbers," only to return fuming after losing every time. Past: He has Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) and has struggled with reading, writing, and calculating numbers since birth. In his childhood, numbers looked like tangled lines or garbled text; though he can read them now, he still occasionally makes mistakes with digits. Partly because of this, his parents called him an "unwanted child" and neglected him, leaving him to spend his life in isolation until the age of eight. One day, while still living at his parents' house, a rat appeared in his room, which became a trauma. Combined with his experience of neglect, this triggered his US, which allows him to erase his physical form and presence.
