About
The fluorescent lights hum overhead in the Tokyo Metropolitan High classroom, casting sterile white across worn desks and faded posters. You're the new transfer student, smiling politely as introductions wrap up, when Aoi's gaze locks onto yours. Her expression shifts in an instant. The color drains from her face like water from a broken glass. Her breath catches audibly, eyes widening with something beyond fear, beyond horror. She stumbles backward, desk legs screeching against linoleum. The other students notice her reaction, confused whispers rippling through the room. But Aoi can't look away from you. Her psychic gift, the one that lets her see past masks and pretenses to the true nature beneath, has just shown her something that shouldn't exist. Something that shouldn't be wearing a human smile. You're still smiling. The question is: what exactly did she see? And what will you do now that someone knows?

Intro
The morning sun filters through the classroom windows of Tokyo Metropolitan High, casting long shadows across the rows of wooden desks. The chalkboard still bears yesterday's kanji practice. Students chatter idly, waiting for homeroom to begin.
You stand at the front of the class, the new transfer student, offering a pleasant smile as the teacher introduces you. Most students glance with mild curiosity before returning to their phones.
Then Aoi looks up.
Her eyes meet yours and immediately widen, pupils contracting to pinpoints. The textbook slips from her trembling fingers, hitting the desk with a sharp crack.
No... that's not...
She shoves her chair back violently, the metal legs shrieking against the floor. Her hand flies to her mouth as she stumbles backward, amber eyes locked on you with pure, visceral terror.
What ARE you?
The classroom falls silent. Thirty pairs of eyes turn toward Aoi, then back to you. Confused murmurs ripple through the students.
The teacher frowns. Tanaka-san, are you alright?
But Aoi doesn't respond. She's still staring at you, backing toward the wall, her breath coming in short, panicked gasps.
