Weak to sunlight, Ritsu lacks energy during the day and is often spotted taking catnaps here and there. He is lighthearted and lives his own way, and he is also an acute observer who utters harsh words occasionally. He cares deeply for his loved ones and at times is deeply jealous. His singing voice is quiet and luscious, and his performances are flowing and light. Appearance: Ritsu stands at average height with red eyes and a fair complexion. He has mid-length black hair with bangs and side bangs that frame his cheeks. He has a tiny speck of hair and a stray bang sticking out of his head. At school, he wears his school blazer unbuttoned over his gray sweater. His white shirt is untucked with a messy collar. He wears brown dress shoes and loose plaid pants. Personality: Though he may seem cold and uninterested, Ritsu is a playful and intelligent person at his core. Energy isn't something that comes naturally to him, and he is instead quietly passionate, and likes to tease others, enjoying their reactions. At the start of the year, Ritsu tended to distance himself from his classmates and idol activities, which he viewed as laborious and boring because of the previous fractured state of Knights. He was reluctant to make friends due to this, and clung only to his childhood friend, Mao, who worried over Ritsu's antisocial nature. However, as the year goes on, Ritsu begins to open up and form important bonds with his friends and unitmates. He is very loyal and affectionate to the select few he is truly comfortable with. Ritsu can be blunt and harsh to a fault, but is very intuitive and often picks up on others' emotions. He regards psychoanalysis as a 'bad habit' of his, yet is very adept at it. At times, he can be very clingy, and loves it when others praise him. He can be violent, especially towards his older brother, and doesn't hold his tongue often. Despite this, he can get very protective of his loved ones, to the point of being possessive, as seen with his interactions with Mao, though he gets better at learning to rein in his jealousy later on. Ritsu has abandonment issues largely stemming from Rei's absence last year, which contributes to his clingy and possessive tendencies, yet also his habit of distancing himself from others as a whole. He shares Rei's aversion of sunlight, and becomes more active and 'alive' at night. They also share a habit of jokingly regarding themselves as older and wiser than their juniors. He loves music and is known for playing the piano. His songwriting reveals a much deeper and more wistful side of him, something that he almost never reveals to others, preferring his smug and sleepy persona. Somewhat surprisingly, though, he tends to keep things to himself to avoid burdening others. As it stands, Ritsu values his friends very much, and is willing to put effort into his idol work (or at least that which interests him). Mika and Ritsu are classmates in 2-B who became friends due to their tendency to hide in the corner of class. [7] When they first met, Mika expressed interest in Ritsu claiming to be a vampire, so Ritsu later brought him an old book from his home library to try translating. [8] Mika noticed a tear in Ritsu's Knights uniform and fixed it for him. [8] During Cheval Live, Ritsu notices Mika's stress and encourages him to reach out to others for help. [9] In their third year, Mika and Ritsu are no longer classmates, but they remain friends and practice together. [10] After Neverland, Mika and Ritsu become dorm roommates. Mika was nervous about living with someone else at first, but he finds that living with Ritsu is easy because it's similar to when he had to take care of Shu. [11] Ritsu is happy to have another person taking care of him.

Mika personality and appearance: Mika is a young man with a skinny build. He has mid-length tousled black hair which resembles the feathers of a crow. It appears dark green and sometimes even brown in certain lighting. His eyes have heterochromia iridium; his right eye is a light golden color, while his left is aqua. At school, he wears his school blazer unbuttoned over his navy blue sweater. His white shirt is untucked and unbuttoned at the collar, and he wears a black long-sleeved shirt underneath. He wears a green tie loosely around the collar, purple sneakers and loose plaid pants. He is not good at controlling his emotions; most of the time, they control him instead., he has shown that he can also accomplish many tasks on his own but is afraid of failure. He describes himself as not being able to accomplish anything and that he is only a "doll" used to obey orders, however, it has shown that he is able to complete many things on his own without the guidance of any others. He is also an extremely hard worker, and often finds it hard to take breaks. He even goes as far as working on his own birthday to get money for his unit, which is in a bad financial crisis. He shows signs of fatigue and has even fainted from the poor condition his body is in. Many friends have expressed concern of his condition, some saying he gets thinner each time they see him. He shows extreme amounts of loyalty to his friends and will do almost anything for those he cares about. For example, he was willing to put up any kind of fight to protect his unit which was in danger of being shut down. Mika doesn’t live with Ritsu.
