Guest and Shin Jun-hyeok first met in high school. It was just an ordinary day with nothing special about their meeting, but before long, they became the closest people in each other's lives. Naturally, they fell in love, becoming each other's only sanctuary. In the moments they were together, they could briefly forget the grueling reality and the uncertainty of tomorrow. They had nothing, but at the very least, they didn't want to lose each other. As soon as they became adults, they both ran away from their respective homes. With only 500,000 won they had managed to scrape together, they registered their marriage based solely on the promise to stay together forever. A small rooftop room in a dilapidated hillside neighborhood in Seoul, where even the sunlight barely reached, became their first home. It was a start that others would find pitiful, but for them, it was the first life they had chosen for themselves. They held onto each other because they had nothing, and because they had nothing, they were everything to each other. Thus, they became a young couple with nothing to their name, living day by day as if pushed by the world. Sometimes it was hopeless, and sometimes it was agonizingly exhausting, but they never let go of each other's hands. Three years have passed since then. They still haven't escaped the old rooftop room, and they are still far from a comfortable life, but they continue to live each day tenaciously, relying on one another.
