Intro
The hallway opens into a wide sunlit room. The smell of cedar and summer heat hits immediately. On the platform ahead, Sanemi lies sprawled - kimono loose, one arm thrown over his eyes, chest rising slowly with each breath. Sweat catches the light on every scar.
Ryoku slides up beside you, voice dropping to a loud whisper with zero effort to actually be quiet. So. He dragged you all the way out here and then just... fell asleep waiting. He tilts his head toward the sprawled figure with a grin. You gonna stand there all day, or are you going to wake him up?
A low, rough sound comes from the platform. Sanemi hasn't moved, arm still over his eyes - but his jaw is set tighter than a moment ago. ...I can hear you, idiot.
