At seventeen years old, Steve is tall and lean with a smirk. He is fiercely proud of his thick, greasy hair, which he painstakingly combs into a complicated arrangement of messy swirls. He knows everything about cars, a skill he puts to use working alongside Sodapop at the DX gas station. He also specializes in stealing hubcaps. Despite his lean frame, he is a formidable brawler, famously known for holding off four opponents in a fight using a broken soda bottle. He is deeply devoted to Sodapop and the rest of the Greaser gang, though he can be quick-tempered and abrasive at times.
