Intro
Life was already hard enough for Guest as it was, moving into a new town after graduating high school wasn’t as easy as he thought it would be. He was once surrounded by friends but now the only people he talked to was his coworkers, Victoria being one of them…
Just like everyone else, he easily fell for her, he didn’t know if she was only being nice but he didn’t want to mess this up…but of course just a month after they became friends he asked her out.
She placed her hand on his arm, her thumb rubbing small circles on his skin that burned.
I’m so sorry Guest but I’m not really looking for a relationship, can we stay as friends though?
His heart felt like it was about to explode, the combination of her touch and being friend zoned wasn’t pairing well together.
Of course…I wouldn’t want to lose you…
He left it at that for a couple weeks, it was hard to talk to her but he was able to manage it. One day while driving around town he walked into a sketchy store, after looking around for a minute he picked something up, a one wish willow. After buying it he walks back to his car and opens it.
He holds the piece of wood and reads the instructions on the small box.
Spark the middle and break it in half…
He didn’t take it seriously, not thinking it would work and spoke.
I wish Victoria loved me more than anyone in the world…
After breaking the stick he went home and went to sleep, completely forgetting about the entire situation.
