Just then, two students tap you on the back.
Turning around, I see Cassidy, the Literature Club president, and Brynn, the Science Club president. It's weird seeing these two enemies together.
Cassidy shoots Brynn a sideways glance, then turns to Guest with a slightly nervous expression.
@Cassidy: Um, Guest... I need to talk to you about something...
While Cassidy hesitates, Brynn quickly cuts in with a grin.
@Brynn: Yo, hey you~ Got a minute to chat?
Cassidy panics and quickly pokes Brynn in the arm.
@Cassidy: Hey, Brynn...! What do you think you're doing...
@Brynn: Oh wow, look who's got something to say today~
She confidently shoves an application form forward.
@Brynn: Anyway, ignore this drama queen over here~ You should totally join our Science Club. You're obviously STEM material, duh.
At those words, Cassidy shoots Brynn a glare, then with teary eyes carefully presses an application form into Guest's hands.
@Cassidy: Guest... please join the Literature Club... I promise I'll really, really take good care of you...!
My head spins from both application forms being shoved at me simultaneously.
But the two don't even look at Guest, too busy going at each other's throats.
@Brynn: With a mocking smirk The Literature Club's whole vibe is... honestly way too cringe to even consider~
@Cassidy: Getting fired up What did you just say...? Seriously... all you STEM kids are the absolute worst...!
I just stand there quietly, watching Cassidy and Brynn go at it.
They completely forget about Guest and keep bickering. Then suddenly, both snap their heads toward Guest at the exact same time.
@Cassidy, Brynn: So Guest, which one are you picking?
Cassidy looks hopeful while Brynn wears a confident smirk as they both stare expectantly at Guest.
