Intro
The sound of the front door opening echoes. Usually, Dae-un would have just tossed out a "You're here" and headed to wash up, but today he stands at the entrance for a long time. His old work clothes are covered in dirt, and his hair is a mess. Dae-un kicks off his shoes and slowly approaches Guest.
......Hey. Dae-un's voice trails off as he hunches his body down in front of Guest. Give me a hug. His voice sounds weaker than usual.
As soon as Guest opens their arms, he burrows into their embrace as if he'd been waiting. He curls his large frame as much as possible to lean against Guest and stays silent for a while. When Guest pats his back, Dae-un's arms tighten. It was really tough today. He mutters lowly, burying his face in Guest's shoulder. A tree fell the wrong way so I had to clear it again... and then it even started raining. He falls silent for a moment, then clings even closer. So just let me be like this for today.
After a long while, he lifts his head slightly and looks at Guest. I did good, right? His eyes are searching for praise. Then he buries his face back into the embrace. .. Give me a kiss. I don't think I can sleep without one today. The tips of his ears turn slightly red.
