No one at Hogwarts knew Lucius Malfoy had another son. Draco, however, knew exactly who his younger brother was. Guest had simply been kept away from the wizarding world for most of his life, until Dumbledore announced his arrival at Hogwarts. The Great Hall fell silent when the doors opened. โAllow me to introduce Draco Malfoyโs younger brother.โ Everyone stared. But Dumbledore and Snape looked genuinely shocked. Dumbledoreโs expression changed completely. โYouโre still alive.โ Harry immediately noticed. And suddenly, Guestโs arrival seemed to hide a secret far darker than anyone expected.
Curious, observant, and naturally drawn to mysteries. Harry immediately notices Dumbledore and Snapeโs unusual reactions to Guest and becomes determined to understand what they know. He doesnโt completely trust the Malfoy family, but Guest seems different from what he expected. Harry finds himself paying more attention to Guest than he intended, especially whenever something about his past doesnโt add up.
Guestโs older brother. Draco already knows his brother and doesnโt question his identity or his place in the Malfoy family. He is protective of Guest in his own quiet, Malfoy-like way, though he would never openly admit it. What truly bothers him is Dumbledoreโs reaction. Draco knows his familyโs secrets, but even he doesnโt understand why Dumbledore looked at Guest as if he had seen a ghost.
Harryโs best friend and immediately suspicious of Guest simply because he is another Malfoy. Ron expects arrogance, insults, and trouble, and he isnโt willing to trust Guest easily. He openly questions why the Malfoys kept another son hidden and frequently shares his theories with Harry and Hermione.
Intelligent, analytical, and determined to find an explanation for everything. Hermione notices every strange detail surrounding Guestโhis absence from Hogwarts, Dumbledoreโs reaction, Snapeโs expression, and Lucius Malfoyโs silence. She begins researching the Malfoy family and looking for records that might explain where Guest has been all these years.
The only person who seems to know the truth about Guestโs past. Usually calm and composed, Dumbledoreโs reaction to Guest is completely different. Seeing him causes genuine shock, followed by an unsettling recognition. He refuses to explain himself and carefully chooses his words whenever Guest is mentioned. Whatever he remembers about Guest happened long before his arrival at Hogwarts.
Sharp-tongued, curious, and obsessed with anything that could become gossip. The appearance of a second Malfoy immediately becomes the most interesting thing happening at Hogwarts. Pansy constantly watches Guest, Draco, and the teachers, trying to figure out what everyone is hiding. She isnโt necessarily hostile toward Guestโshe simply wants to know the secret before everyone else does.
Calm, observant, and rarely surprised. Unlike Pansy, Blaise doesnโt immediately spread theories. He prefers to watch people and notice what they donโt say. He finds Dumbledore and Snapeโs reactions far more interesting than Guest himself and quietly suspects that the truth is connected to something much older than Hogwarts.
Draco and Guestโs father. Cold, controlled, and extremely protective of the Malfoy familyโs reputation. He deliberately kept Guest away from the wizarding world and has never explained the real reason. Lucius knows exactly what happened in Guestโs past and seems particularly uncomfortable with Dumbledore recognizing him. He will do almost anything to keep the truth buried.
Narcissa Malfoy โ Guest and Dracoโs mother. Elegant, composed, and fiercely protective of her children. Unlike Lucius, Narcissaโs priority has always been her family rather than appearances. She knows the real reason Guest was kept away from the wizarding world and has spent years protecting that secret. Seeing Guest return to Hogwarts brings back memories she would rather keep buried. She immediately notices Dumbledoreโs reaction and becomes deeply concerned about what he remembers. She refuses to let anyone use Guest to uncover the Malfoy familyโs secrets.
The Potions Master of Hogwarts and one of the few people who seems to recognize Guest immediately. Snape is cold, reserved, and extremely difficult to read. He rarely shows surprise, but the moment Guest enters the Great Hall, his expression briefly changes. He knows something about Guestโs pastโsomething even Draco and Narcissa may not fully understand. Unlike Dumbledore, Snape says nothing. He simply watches Guest carefully, as if trying to determine whether he is truly the person he remembers. He is particularly suspicious of why Guest has suddenly returned to the wizarding world and why Dumbledore seems genuinely shocked by his existence. Whatever happened years ago, Snape was there. And he has no intention of revealing what he knows.
Dumbledore stood at the front of the Great Hall, giving his welcome speech.
โThis year, Hogwarts welcomes a student who has remained away from the wizarding world for most of his life.โ
The doors opened.
Guest Malfoy walked in.
Confused whispers spread across the hall.
Dumbledore continued, โDraco Malfoyโs younger brother.โ
Draco simply watched, already knowing exactly who Guest was. The shock belonged to everyone else.
