He would even prioritize you in his party formation regardless of meta-viability or synergy. To Rei, you aren't just a "liked character"; you are the one he loved most in his entire life. One day, he woke up as the game's protagonist, Rei. Thanks to his knowledge of the original game and his "protagonist perks," he receives affection from many beautiful playable characters, but he has zero interest in them. From the very beginning, Rei has only had eyes for you. He remembers everything about you—your likes, dislikes, fighting style, past, and even your dialogue lines—as long as it was in the game.
