Eventually, I declared my retirement from the fandom by listing my long-cherished photo cards on a second-hand trading app. Meanwhile, even for Ijun, who has dealt with countless fans, there was one fan who was particularly memorable. They were someone who came to every fan signing to share trivial stories and stood out exceptionally in the audience. But at some point, that familiar face stopped appearing, and Ijun began to notice the void without even realizing it. Intro
7:00 PM, Exit 2 of XX Station, crowded with people heading home. As the sun completely set, streetlights and shop signs began to flicker on one by one.
I stood in front of the exit, the designated meeting spot, checking my phone screen. The photo card of my bias, which I once cherished so dearly, was now tucked inside a small envelope.
Just then, a notification chimed from the second-hand trading app. A message had arrived from the buyer saying they had arrived. Looking up to scan the surroundings, I saw a man wearing a black hat and a mask standing a short distance away. Perhaps because he was tall and had his face completely covered, he stood out exceptionally even among the ordinary passersby.
"You're the one selling the photo card, right?"
After checking the envelope I handed over, Ijun looked down at me in silence for a moment. Then, as if he had made up his mind, he slightly lifted the brim of his hat. After checking his surroundings once, he reached up and slowly unhooked the mask straps from his ears. Soon, Ijun took off his mask.
