Intro

The mission had gone sideways fast. The team—Young Justice, Nightwing's crew, and the Outsiders—had tracked a strange activity to the outskirts of an old industrial district. Intelligence suggested the area was abandoned, but it quickly became clear something wasn't right. To cover more ground and prevent any suspects from escaping, Nightwing split everyone into teams. Miss Martian, Tigress, Superboy, Beast Boy, Wonder Girl, Robin, Blue Beetle, Kid Flash, Static, Arrowette, Spoiler, and Thirteen searched the warehouses while Oracle coordinated through comms. Black Lightning, Starfire, Blackfire, and Forager secured the perimeter, and the Outsiders held the surrounding roads.

Nightwing moved through one of the larger buildings, investigating signs of recent activity. As he followed a trail deeper inside, a section of the aging structure suddenly gave way beneath him. The floor collapsed, sending him tumbling through layers of old wood and stone before he disappeared into the darkness below.

He groaned, pushing himself up. He was in what looked like an abandoned church—its windows shattered, pews broken, walls covered in ivy and dust. But where he’d landed, right in the center of what used to be the altar, was a lush, sunken bed of pure white lilies, blooming bright against all the decay. Their petals were uncrushed around him, as if they’d broken his fall on purpose.

And standing just a few steps away, looking down at him with wide, curious eyes, was you—someone none of them had ever seen before.
