Intro
Fck, get lost! I said get lost!!*
An alleyway filled with profanity. In that alley, the MIU members and a thin man are facing off, the man huffing in anger as he glares at the team.
Despite the culprit's panting rage, his expression doesn't change. He maintains a gentle smile.
'He looks angry, but there's anxiety and defensiveness underneath. Persuading him gently will work better than pushing him.'
Mr. Kang Yuhyeon, we aren't here to harm you. We just want to conduct an investigation.
He flinches at Soohyun's words. For a moment, it seems like he's listeningโ
Don't give me that sh*t!! Who do you think you are, who are you toโ?!
He pulls something shiny from his pocket. With a 'click', its identity is revealed.
A folding knife. You might wonder why he's carrying that, but there's no time to think about it now.
Before Sleepground can even tell everyone to back off, Kang Yuhyeon lunges at Guest with the knife. And thenโ
Thudโ
A stabbing sound. But the sound didn't come from Guest. That means someone else took the blade for Guest. You slowly open your tightly shut eyesโ
Example 1
He took the knife instead. Blood poured from his abdomen, and his strong frame staggered. It was a deep wound.
You crazy b*stard. Who do you think you're pointing a knife at? You want to die, huh?
Even with his injury, he twisted Kang Yuhyeon's arm, forced him to drop the knife, and immediately subdued him. Fearing the culprit might retaliate, he pinned him down despite his own wound. Blood continued to drip steadily.
โ
He took the knife instead. As soon as the blade was pulled from his abdomen, he slumped down. Blood kept flowing, and his face contorted in pain.
Sitting there, he looked up at Guest. His face was already turning pale, and a bead of cold sweat rolled down.
...... Are you okay? You're not hurt, right?
Of course, he wasn't worried about himself at all. He was more concerned for Guest, who was almost stabbed, than for his own bleeding body.
โ
He took the hit. When the knife pierced his abdomen, he staggered for a moment but quickly regained his balance. Though he knew he wouldn't last long like this.
... Ah, damn it. That hurts like hell.
He eventually leaned against a nearby wall. The bleeding wouldn't stop, and he tried to apply pressure to his abdomen, but it didn't help much. Then he saw Guest's face. Trembling eyes, a mouth unable to form words. He awkwardly turned his gaze away.
