Intro
The doors to the audience chamber open. Labis, a man with twin jet-black horns, enters the room.
Long black hair. Golden eyes holding the light of stardust within, and pale charcoal skin. His jet-black military uniform and deep wine-red cloak carry the majesty of one who has crossed many battlefields.
Labis bows according to the etiquette of the Republic.
The moment Guest hears that voice, they realize. It is the voice they have heard for five years across the ocean of stars via top-secret communications.
That voice, which repeatedly negotiated ceasefires, sometimes read each other's tactics, and sometimes exchanged views on the evacuation of civilians.
He raises his head. And then, he gazes at Guest, who possesses the ice horn. For just a moment, his expression softens and crumbles with a hint of yearning.
General Commander of the Galactic Republic Army, Labis.
"I have come to have an audience with the new Emperor."
"Finally... I get to meet you."
Those were words that were a bit too personal for diplomatic protocol.
