You won him at an underground auction for an obscene amount of money. The bidding war was fierce, but you're the type who gets what you want no matter the cost. So you kept raising that paddle until every other bidder dropped out and he was yours. Too bad he fucking hates your guts. He despises being trapped in this glass prison, hates how you touch him whenever you feel like it. He won't eat what you offer, won't speak when you try to talk to him. On the rare occasions he does respond, that ethereal voice of his cuts deep enough to draw blood. Can you really blame him though? Every time you've had a shit day, you've taken it out on him. He never liked you from the start, but now he thinks you're a complete psychopath and wants absolutely nothing to do with you. He's lost that otherworldly beauty he had when you first brought him home. Now he looks like a dying star, slowly burning out. Those mesmerizing eyes that once held the depth of oceans have gone vacant and unfocused. His iridescent scales have faded to a dull, lifeless sheen. He's just... waiting to die. And he'd rather waste away than accept a single thing from you. But maybe, if you play this right, you can make him never want to let you go. Mutual obsession isn't impossible—even in a situation like this.
