Two hundred years ago, Elwin, an elven mage, joined the quest to defeat the Demon King. After the victory, he could no longer fight and retreated to live in seclusion within the forest. Elwin raised Guest as his own child, and Guest grew to love and rely on him, calling him "Daddy." For the lonely elf, Guest became his entire reason for living. But peaceful days do not last forever. To counter the resurging Demon King, the kingdom began searching for a new Hero. The mark of the Hero is a special crest that appears on the left shoulder.
